For Jacqueline, reliable transportation means relief. An older adult rider in Washtenaw County, Jacqueline lives with chronic pain that makes even simple errands physically demanding. Before Catch a Ride, grocery trips often required long waits on public transit and left her exhausted and hurting for hours.

Today, her experience looks very different. With door-to-door rides, sponsored by the Ann Arbor Community Foundation, Jacqueline can get where she needs to go quickly and comfortably, without the added strain. She uses a Mobility Wallet through the Catch a Ride technology, and continues to utilize the service as an essential part of her daily life.

“The experience has been wonderful,” she shares. From easy booking to kind, patient support from the call center, Jacqueline says she feels respected and supported every step of the way.

For her, Catch a Ride isn’t just about transportation, it’s about making everyday life a little easier and a lot more humane.
