One Place to Support People Who Need to Get Somewhere.

A Transportation Support Account is a dedicated transportation program for your organization. It gives your team one place to coordinate transportation for the people you serve.

Instead of asking people to navigate separate phone numbers, transportation providers, reimbursement systems, eligibility rules, transit schedules, and ride options on their own, Catch a Ride helps bring the process together.

Your organization decides who is eligible, what transportation support is available, how funds can be used, and how involved your staff want to be. Catch a Ride helps manage the logistics behind the scenes.

One place to coordinate transportation. One clear view of program activity. More ways to help people move forward.

Every Transportation Support Account is powered by a secure Community Booking Account, or CBA. The CBA is the technical program structure that helps apply your organization’s guidelines, coordinate transportation, manage funding, track activity, and document results.

MULTIMODAL, PERSON-CENTERED MOBILITY
The Best Transportation Option Depends on the Person, the Trip, and the Day.
The right transportation depends on the person, the destination, and the situation—not every trip fits the same solution. Catch a Ride helps organizations offer the best available local option instead of forcing every person into the same transportation solution.

Public Transit

Fixed-route, demand-response, rural transit, transit passes, and local transportation services that connect people to everyday destinations.

Taxi and Local Transportation Providers

Point-to-point options that support dependable transportation in areas where local providers play an important role.

Volunteer Drivers

Trusted local volunteers who can provide flexible, relationship-based transportation in communities where other options may be limited.

Accessible and Door-to-Door Service

Transportation options for people who use mobility aids, need additional boarding support, or require more assistance from pickup through arrival.

On-Demand Transportation

Flexible transportation for trips that require more timing control than fixed schedules may provide.

Microtransit and Community-Based Mobility

Flexible local transportation that can help connect rural areas, first- and last-mile needs, employment centers, healthcare facilities, and community destinations.

Transportation options vary by geography, provider availability, program guidelines, funding, and rider needs.

Transportation Should Fit Real Life—Not Force People to Fit the System.

A person may need a ride that accommodates a wheelchair, a car seat, a caregiver, a long-distance medical appointment, a late return time, a rural pickup location, or a job shift that begins before public transit starts.

Catch a Ride helps organizations build transportation support around those realities.

Depending on your program, people may receive support through a Mobility Wallet, a staff-guided Transportation Support Account, public-transit assistance, a referral partner, a Transportation Case Manager, or a real person at the Mobility Support Center.

The goal is not simply to book a trip. The goal is to help the person successfully reach what matters.

TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT FOR ORGANIZATIONS
Start Where You Are. Grow When You Are Ready.

Every organization has different staffing, funding, technology, and transportation needs.

Catch a Ride offers four levels of Transportation Support, each powered by the same secure Community Booking Account structure behind the scenes.

The options build on one another, allowing your organization to begin with the support you need today and grow as your goals, capacity, partnerships, and funding evolve.

You choose the level of involvement. Catch a Ride helps manage the complexity.

People use approved transportation support more directly.

A Mobility Wallet gives approved participants more flexibility and choice within the guidelines your organization sets.

Your organization decides who is eligible, what transportation can be used, how much support is available, which trip purposes qualify, and how long the support lasts.

Participants can then use approved transportation options more independently, while your organization maintains clear program boundaries and visibility into activity.

Decide who qualifies, what trips are eligible, spending limits, approved providers, co-pay expectations, and how long support is available.

Catch a Ride works with transit agencies, counties, municipalities, and community partners to help public transportation connect more effectively with healthcare, employers, nonprofits, older-adult services, schools, and other local needs.

Support may include rider communication, referral pathways, coordinated booking, transit passes, data, local partnerships, and flexible transportation options that help fill gaps beyond traditional routes or schedules.

Bring eligible public-transit services, agency-operated routes, passes, demand-response options, and related transportation resources into one support structure.

3. Connect people to transportation.

Help riders, staff, and referral partners understand how to access the available services.

4. Use data to strengthen the system.

3. Optional Transportation Case Management or specialized support services, when needed.

Catch a Ride

Pricing Clarifier

Transportation-provider costs are separate from Catch a Ride service fees.

For most third-party transportation providers, the actual provider rate is passed through to your organization based on ride type, distance, accessibility needs, demand conditions, geography, and provider pricing at the time of service.

Mobility Wallet Clarifier

Tier 1 and Tier 2 include up to three initial Mobility Wallet configurations. Additional wallet configurations are available for $250 each.

Public Transit Clarifier

Where Catch a Ride operates or administers public transit under contract with a government entity or program sponsor, rides are billed at the applicable agency rate. No Catch a Ride booking fee applies to those agency-operated rides unless otherwise stated in your written agreement.

External public transit providers and third-party transportation providers may have separate provider rates and applicable booking fees.

No-Show and Late Cancellation Note

Rides canceled with less than two hours’ notice, or missed by the rider, may result in the actual provider cost and applicable booking fee being charged to the organization.

*Published pricing is intended as a planning guide. Final pricing, booking fees, transit configurations, service scope, and transportation-provider rates are confirmed in the written agreement for your organization.

NEW COMMUNITY LAUNCHES

Ready to Build Transportation Support Where Catch a Ride Is Not Yet Active?

Catch a Ride can work with organizations outside of our current service footprint—but launching in a new community requires more than turning on a portal.

It means understanding the local transportation landscape, identifying providers, establishing service rules, building referral workflows, confirming funding structures, configuring technology, onboarding staff, and ensuring the support model is practical for the people your organization serves.

For that reason, new-market implementation includes a separate one-time launch and network-development investment.

Estimated One-Time Launch Investment: $20,000–$80,000
