Using Catch a Ride in Your Community

If Catch a Ride Network is already operating in your community, your organization may be able to start using the network without building a transportation program from scratch.

In this 60-minute session, we’ll show you how organizations can use the Catch a Ride Network to help patients, clients, employees, students, or community members get where they need to go.

We’ll walk through two of the primary ways organizations can use the network: Community Booking Accounts, which allow staff to arrange transportation on behalf of the people they serve, and Mobility Wallets, which give eligible individuals greater flexibility to manage transportation within funding and program guidelines.

We’ll also explain Catch a Ride’s three levels of support, from organizations managing more of the transportation process themselves to models where Catch a Ride provides more hands-on coordination, rider support, and program management. The goal is to help you understand which structure best matches your staff capacity, population, transportation needs, and budget.

During the session, we’ll cover how riders enter the network, how eligibility and transportation funding can be managed, what transportation options may be available, how the Mobility Support Center can help when people need additional assistance, and what information organizations can track along the way.

We’ll also help you think through the questions that matter before getting started:
